In order to supplement the existing guidelines of the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Government has issued additional guidelines on detailed procedures for establishment of joint ventures by the Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) on 17th February, 2012. Security concerns were taken into consideration before allowing such JVs.
Guidelines provide that DPSUs should sign a suitable Non-Disclosure Agreement with prospective partner(s) before sharing any confidential information. This information was given by Minister of State for Defence Dr MM PallamRajuin a written reply to Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar in Rajya Sabha today.
