Office Memorandum

Subject: - Payment of arrear to Pre-2006 Pensioners/Family Pensioners on account of revision of Pension/Family Pension w.e.f. 01-01-2006.

   In continuation to this Department’s Office Memorandum of even number dated the 29th March, 2010, 2nd November, 2010 and 10th March,20l1 on the subject cited above, the undersigned is directed to say that the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to order the payment of additional l0% of the arrears of pension/family pension to Pre-2006 pensioners/family pensioners.
Now, the total cumulative arrears released so far after taking into account the present release, shall amount to 50% of the total arrears accrued to the Pre-2006 pensioners/ family Pensioners.

   2. It shall be the responsibility of Pension Disbursing Authorities including Public Sector Banks that 10% of total pension/family pension arrears is drawn and disbursed to the Pensioners/family pensioners between the festivals of Dussehera and Diwali in the month of October,2011.

   3. In the case of pensioners/family pensioners who have unfortunately died, the entire outstanding amount of arrears on account of pension/family pension shall be paid in cash to the family/legal heir(s)/Nominee(s) as the case may be between the festivals of Dussehera and Diwali in the month of October, 2011.
