Demands of agitation week from 19th july 2010--Government employees national council

GENC  decided to observe agitation week for the following demands from 19th july 2010 through out the country . All the constituent federations will issue circular in this regards and observe this demand week dharana,gate meetings,rallies,wearing of black batches should be carried out as per the feasibility,  for the following demands.

demands: 

 

1.Retirements age should not be less than 60 years.  

                                                                                                                                                                            

2.Enhance income tax limits to RS.5 lacks minimum retirements benefits should not be brought in to the preview of income tax.



3.LTC and home town concession shall be provided to all state govt and municipal/autonomous body employees.



4.Stop out sourcing and engaging contract labour in perennial nature of jobs



5.Proffessional tax should not be deducted from the employees salary.



6Maternity leave shall be enhanced from 6 months and 2years  for child care leave should be given to all women employees of state and central government employee and autonomous body employees.



7.One month extra payment at the time of delivery  should be given to the employees to mitigate extra expenditure.



8.All the group 'D' employees who are up-graded to RS.1800/-GRADE pay should be given rs.1900 /-grade pay on par with group 'C'employees



9 Educational qualification for direct recruitment of clerks shall be enhanced to minimum graduation and they should be given appropriate grade pay .



10Employees who are retiring on 30th june shall be granted one notional increment and accordingly all retirement benefits should be paid the notional pay .



11New pension fund regulatory development authority bill (PFRDA) should be scrapped and old pension scheme should be continued .



12Central government should be changed its economical policy and should control the price rise of essential commodities .



13Group insurance scheme should be enhanced from rs18000/-to rs 5 lacks.



14Compassionate appointment should be given to all.



15MACP benefits should be given in the next promotional grade pay.



16In defence production oppose to 100%fdi & back door privatization of rly& postal department.
